41 days.

oh the irony of finding this article TODAY of all days.[ for those of you who don't like reading like i don't sometimes, its about a woman who doesn't belive she should ever have a sonogram for her child...yeah.]


this the day that i had TWO ultrasounds in one day. because apparently i have the weirdest doctors in the world.

i had an ultrasound originally because they told me i had a fat baby, or i was fat [direct quotes].

and today i went in to find that no. i have a small baby. or a okay baby. or whatever.

the only thing that two different set of sonogram-ists [? is that a thing? there's a word for it...but buhhh it's late.]anyways the only thing they could totally without a doubt agree on is that 1. he is a boy. 2. he has lots of hair. 3. he doesn't like to get his sonogram taken. 4. he is very active. [he even kicked the wand off of my belly twice. or punched it? either way homeboy is strong]

so really...why do they not have a universal system of measuring fetus's things?? i feel like that is something it is either a yes he's a good size or not. Not he's in the 34th percentile, or the 20th, or possibly the lower 10th....

so even after checking his umbilical cord blood levels, and brain to blood ratio...no one can decide if he's too small, too big, or jussssssst right.

end results? non-stress tests twice weekly....starting tomorrow. at 9:30 AM!!!! i don't even know if my son wakes up that early to be honest....but i guess we'll just have to find out. because looks like this is the way it'll be for the next 5-4 weeks.

OHHH BUT THE BEST PART?!?! getting a mini fast passed marathon tour of the whole beautiful hospital. A WHOLE STARBUCKS! WITH FRAPACHINOS?! ohhh the smells of that place made me so happy...and a piano...that plays by itself!!! MY FAVORITE!! and just the artwork and awesomeness of this gorgeous place! ANNNNNNNNNNNNND RITTERS ICE CREAM IN THE CAFETERIA!!!!!!!!!!

basically it will be an amazing hotel stay, with some uncomfortable-ness in the beginning, but then there will be a cute ending with an awesome little guy.

so in conclusion.. my weeks will be slightly more busy now..and i saw this awesome fire hydrant today. and it was pretty.
