The First Day of REAL Life

How is it that for an entire week plus this cute little baby could look sooo much like me...

And then out of no where???

total Hubsy face?

it baffles the mind.

Anyways, in other baby/family/whatever news today is the FIRST day I'm all alone with the cute factory.

The Hubs went back to work for the first time in like 2 weeks or something, and it's just me and cuddle bug running the house.

I'd be a stone cold liar if I told you I wasn't worried about this day since he came into the world, I'm still not up to perfection like I want to be: my feet don't walk as fast as I want them too, my thigh/calf/whole left side it feels is still really swollen and numb a little, every once in a while my incision from the grossness [ie c-section] hurts...and the baby blues? ugh. full swing over here...

but I'm happy I have the worlds cuddliest baby to deal with...

I mean honestly, he can't be any easier to take care of, or it's just he's mine and so awesome that I don't really think much of it.......

either way, I'm happy...

just wish the Hubsy was here to enjoy the happy too..

The Thing About Being a Newlymom to a Baby Boy......

is that sometimes...

pee happens.

like...30 into your first day home on walls. or on windows. or on daddys. or floors...
ya know. just the norm.

A Day In The Life of Jaxon Dwight

first we wake up at around 3 am.

a little confused, and hungry...

then we get changed into really cute elephant onesies and sit with daddy while mommy gets ready for the day.

then mommy baby cuddle time!!!

then while sleeping, chill in the swing...

then do this face. while waiting to wake up for more feedings.

then cute spitty baby time.

then make faces at mommy after second outfit change....

not pictured the actual outfit changing/diaper change.

then give mommy this face.

then ya know more swinging...cause why not?

then sleep on mommy. and loose your umbilical cord

and have really good dreams

then finally get into sleeper and go to sleep for the night and start the whole day over again at 3am.

One Week Old.

this is Jaxon Dwight.
he's 6 pounds 13 oz
super cute
moves his hands and arms around like a champion.
ATLEAST three diffrent outfit changes a day
he loves his mommy daddy time
HATES diapers changes.
has a very kissable face.
& digs sleeping in his swing and on boobs/shoulders.

He's a full week old.
and i can't believe the time went so fast already!!


this first year is going to be hard.
but cute
and apparently go really really fast.

i can't wait.

August 2nd. First Baby Doctor Visit.

baby dr visit day.
someone gained atleast 5 oz's
[which has helped a certian mommy and daddy sleep a little better!!]
and he is just over all super perfect.
other than spitting up like a mad man
and ya know...the other pooping thing babies do.

two mini baths

2 baby cuddle time naps

one nightmare that almost made me cry

and like 1000 kisses....

im pretty much the luckiest girl in the world. =)
